Over the years, we’ve had some talented interns, many of whom have accepted full-time positions and have risen through the ranks. We are committed to providing the best internship program possible because we believe that our interns are our future. We’re looking for internship candidates who would like experience working in a full-service accounting firm. To qualify for an internship with us, you should have a strong academic background in accounting or a related field and a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Will be involved in exciting projects that will give an insight into how determination, courageous decision-making and logical thinking are essential to our work and how these businesses work collaboratively together.
- With the VV team’s help and guidance, and some formal training, interns can build strengths that can drive professional development further.
- Will work under the direction of audit supervisors
- Opportunity to participate in the planning of audits and conduct reviews of various engagement functions, operations and business processes.
- Assist in reviews that include developing the audit scope and audit program, executing the audit work, including the gathering and analysis of required data and information, preparation of work papers and the drafting of reports summarizing the results of the audit and recommendations for improvement.
- Participating in meetings, reviewing procedures, performing analyses and preparing audit workpapers.
This internship is best suited for students who have two or more years of college education in the areas of auditing, accounting, business administration, finance and other related majors.
- General understanding of systematic reviews (internal controls) to ensure effectiveness and accountability.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently or within a team, and prioritize work.
- Good written, oral and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
This will be a hybrid internship opportunity.
